WHAT I LEARNED MOST FROM GCI IS ALWAYS TO BE HOPEFUL AND TO BE GRATEFUL.

I am He Jia. I entered the Great Expectations program in 2009 and I went to nursing college after graduating high school. Now, I am a first year nurse working in a mental hospital. I love my job! I love helping people! My mom was in a similar situation and couldn’t afford my high school education. I have had to take care of her since I was very young. I was very fortunate to receive support and care from Golden Courage.

What I learned most from GCI is always to be hopeful and to be grateful. Now, I have a good job and my mom has good care. None of these could have happened without your support. I am so grateful to you all! P.S. I love food and I love to eat!
